Yuelushan. Command of the Ninth War Zone
In an inconspicuous place, there are often flowers before the inscriptions.
There were five war zones at the beginning of the Anti-Japanese War, which increased to twelve by 1945. The Ninth War Zone was added in June 1938 and administers southern Hubei and Hunan and Jiangxi provinces. The commander was Chen Cheng, who was actually represented by Xue Yue (who took office after February 1945).
From September 1939 to February 1942, the Chinese Army and the Japanese invaders carried out three large-scale fierce offensive and defensive wars, also known as the "Changsha Defense War", centered on Changsha.
Fig. 3 Xue Yue is on the front line.
