乐生活Catopuma temminckii is a medium-sized cat, about two to three times the size of a domestic cat, and can climb trees. They kill birds, rabbits, rodents, reptiles and small ungulates, such as muntjacks and deer. They can knock down much larger prey than themselves, such as domestic buffalo calves.
The golden cat kills its prey with its typical neck-back bite. Their voices include hissing, meowing, grunting and roaring. Communication methods observed in golden cats include odor markers, urine spraying, raking trees and logs with paw prints, and head friction with various objects – just like domestic cats.
