Boring cold knowledge The longest animal on earth is not a blue whale.

Boredom and cold knowledge: The longest animal on Earth is not a blue whale, but an invertebrate called the Lineus longissimus (bootlace worm). This sticky marine worm belongs to the phylum Neoplasma. When fully straightened, it can reach tens of meters in length. It has been found that the largest Neoplasma longissimus was washed up by a storm in Scotland in 1864. On the coast of Andrews, the insect was measured to be 55 meters long, far longer than any vertebrate on Earth, including the blue whale.
