# Beijing Insect Records#
September, Xiangshan
A new generation of yellow-hooked butterflies has emerged, and they will spend the coming cold winter until the bright sunshine returns to the earth. Among the flowers, the broad axe stinger is pregnant with its second egg in its life, while the brown static stinger prefers to lie on the road and enjoy the warmth of noon. On the bushes where people come and go by the roadside, wax cicadas with wide-winged edges mate on the thorns; cotton locusts are doing their best to lay their eggs deep in the soil; and the larvae of the armyworm are also grabbing the last time to fatten themselves. Although it is not sunny, the city of Beijing is still clear in the distance. The last brown and yellow shovel armor survived the heavy rain of the previous few days, while the dead song cicada still declared in silence that the summer of 2019 would never come back.
