Beijing Fayuan Temple (IV) Big Stone Bowl in front of Pilu Hall on June 2012.

Fayuan Temple, Beijing (IV) 2012/6
The base of the big stone bowl in front of Pilu Hall was from the Yuan Dynasty, and it was a set with Beihai Tuancheng’s quot, Dushan Dayuhai’s quot.
Dayuhai was originally deposited in Baita, Beihai, where Guanghan Hall was located. During Wanli period of Ming Dynasty, Guanghan Hall collapsed and Dayuhai was moved to imperial prison. After the death of the Ming Dynasty, the imperial governor became Zhenwu Temple and Dayuhai became the salting pot of Taoists. When Kangxi reinvented the temple, it was replaced by Buddhist nunnery, and the Great Jade Sea was worshipped in front of the Avalokitesvara. Later, it was examined by scholars. Qianlong moved to Beihai Tuancheng, equipped with a pedestal, as a treasure, and cared for it. At the same time, Qianlong ordered the original base to be equipped with a stone bowl, which is shown in the picture. In 1980, it moved to Fayuan Temple as a whole.
Figure 9 is from the internet, other live shooting. The convergence of stone bowls is elliptical, and the outer wall is carved through the body. From the edge of the mouth to the bottom of the bowl are carved with rolling seawater patterns, among which sea animals, seahorses, Jiaolong and sea-hunting forks haunt.
