This picture of the kitchen of the Southern Song Dynasty from Xiangyang has been on display here since its opening. In one part, a complete record of the whole process of making steamed buns: a waiter was squatting in front of the stove burning fire, with firewood beside him, steaming steamed buns in a five-storey drawer on the stove. The other three waiters are making buns with all the noodles and basins on the table. One person rolled the noodles with both hands, the other made buns, and another seemed to be ready to put the buns together.
