Ameca splendens.

Ameca splendens, also known as amaka, formerly distributed in the Amami River, but is now extinct in the wild. They used to be popular ornamental fish, but their numbers have declined dramatically in recent years. Their mode of production is in the tower river near the tower in Mexico.
Mexico butterfly fish are easy to breed. Males have large black dorsal fins, black caudal fins, and yellow stripes at the end. Body ochre, silver and brown on both sides and back. Males have metallic scales and females have black spots and ochre fins on both sides. When the male is excited, the fin color deepens, and dark or light black lines appear on both sides (mood is written on the fin lian).
The other difference between males and females is their anal fins, which are bifurcated at the front of the anal fins for easy mating. Males are smaller, only 7 to 8 centimeters long, while females can be as long as 10 centimeters.
The butterfly fish is suitable for living in a clean and oxygen rich environment. The water temperature ranges from 20 to 25 degrees. The pH value is neutral and the hardness is between 5 and 10. They cannot tolerate low pH and too soft water and are not suitable for breeding with rainforest species. They are better swimmers and live in groups, like 3 to 5 males and 3 to 7 females living together. It’s a delicate look…
Every six to ten weeks, females lay eggs. Fish larvae can reach up to 20 mm. Before small fish are born, females use extraintestinal bands like the human umbilical cord to feed them (amazing! There are signs of birth!
