Strange bird worldPurple-breasted Dharma, photographed in Botswana and Zimbabwe in July 2019.
The purple-breasted Dharma is the former national bird of Botswana. It was later replaced by the cattle egret. In terms of value and cherishedness, the purple-breasted Buddha is superior to the cattle egret. I really don’t understand the reason for being replaced.
