Native fish

Primitive fish# Giraffe#
Tor sinensis is a large cyprinid fish produced in the Lancang River valley of China. It can be seen in the Mekong River abroad, commonly known as red wings.
Life is orange red, with black on the side line. The fins are redder than the body. With the growth of the fish body, the red color strengthens. Side line scale 23-28, lower mouth, horseshoe-shaped, lip is very thick, rolled up, connected up and down at the corner of the mouth, lower lip has developed middle lobe, varies greatly, the middle lobe of adult fish extends back to the horizontal line of the corner of the mouth.
Usually, they live in the main river where the water flow slows down. They are middle and lower layer fish. The juvenile fish mainly feed on plankton, and gradually become omnivorous to adults.
Chinese knot fish can be said to be one of the most common large gray fish in China. Red fins are well suited to Chinese flavor.
China has a large population of eight kilograms, which is also a common food fish (T. douronensis) in the same place of origin is much less). At present, the Nuozhadu Hydropower Station is engaged in artificial breeding of Chinese knot fish, but the technology is not yet mature. The construction of Longshan Hydropower Station has a direct impact on the reflux breeding of fish in China. The impact on the population is devastating. Today, when there is excess electricity, the hydropower station should not be built arbitrarily.
It is hoped that in the future, besides Xishuangbanna, we can see this fish farming. It is better to develop China’s excellent resources than to import wild-knotted fish (Tor tambroides) from abroad.
